The school currently has three full time as well as one part time post. We offer music as a subject as well as music as an extra subject. Since 2008 there are no conditions for taking music as a subject. It is, however, still advised that a learner that considers taking music as a subject already has some skill on an instrument of his choice. Learners that take an instrument in a private capacity can also be accommodated for subject work.

All learners that take music as a subject or extra subject and play an orchestra instrument are expected to play in the orchestra, as it is part of their training as musician. The orchestra forms an integral part of the Boishaai community and it is important that all music students assist in making sure the orchestra keeps going.
